The Governor of Ebonyi state, David Umahi, on his visit to Adoration Ministry, Enugu, gave the Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the sum of N30 million. He also donated 200 tubers of yam and 100 bags of rice, to the Adoration Ministry.
The governor visited the Adoration Ministry, on their 2021 harvest, thanksgiving and bazaar. He urged Rev. Fr. Mbaka to pledge his full support for the government of president Buhari.
While speaking at the event, the governor appealed to the cleric to stop criticizing President Buhari. He said that the president is working to reduce poverty in Nigeria.
Punch Newspaper reported that Umahi, who is the Chairman of the South-east Governor’s Forum, was accompanied by the Governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. Speaking on the issue of Nnamdi Kanu, Governor Umahi said that southeast governors, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and other prominent people in the southeast, are trying their best to secure the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Recall that, Rev. Fr. Mbaka, who supported Buhari during the 2015 election, recently made U-turn, and started criticizing the president. Do you think what Umahi gave Mbaka and what he said to him, will make him change his mind?
