Reno Omokri writes an open letter to men about doing the cooking at home

Nigerian human right activist and online sociopolitical commentator, Reno Omokri took to his social media page to write an open letter to men on why they should help with cooking at home.

In a tweet on his official Twitter account, the former Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan said there is nothing wrong if a man does the cooking at home. He advised men to help with cooking either periodically or even all the time.

To back up his statement, Reno Omokri brought up the example of Jacob, the Patriarch of Israel who used to cook, and he quoted from the Bible book of Genesis chapter 25 verse 29.

"Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished." - Genesis 25:29, New International Bible Version.

Explaining further, Reno Omokri said that Jacob still cooked even though his family had a mother and servants.

Christian men can learn a lot from this short story of Jacob.
