Proper waste management remains of great importance and cannot be overemphasized, but when wastes are not properly managed, not only can it result in an eyesore to some, but also pollute surrounding water and air which hurt health. This for one should be a good reason why virtually everyone should be an advocate for good and proper waste management by ensuring a neat and healthier environment void of illegal refuse dumping.
In Nigeria today and some other countries, improper waste management is a big challenge and most people need to have a change of attitude towards improving the management of waste.
Moments ago, a Nigerian man took to the popular microblogging platform, Twitter, to share the "shocking" reply he got from a "danfo" bus driver after he scolded him over the improper way he disposed a "pure water" nylon sachet after usage.
According to the man, after he scolded the danfo bus driver for throwing away sachet water nylon on the road, the driver replied that his actions open doors of employment to the hardworking street sweepers that keep the road neat, without which they would be unemployed.

His tweet reads;
“I rebuked a danfo driver for throwing sachet water nylon on the road, he rebuffed saying, if people like him stop littering the roads, most of those màmá that used to sweep the highways will be rendered unemployed. The few people on the bus said "àbi ooo, was shocked!.”
