Florida teen accused of murdering a 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey

On Wednesday, a Florida kid accused of murdering his 13-year-old classmate appeared from custody at a virtual pretrial court, where he appeared disoriented and was overheard muttering about demons stealing his soul.

Aiden Fucci, 14, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Tristyn Bailey, who was found viciously stabbed 114 times in a wooded area in St. Johns County's Durbin Crossing neighborhood in May 9.

The St. Augustine Record reported that Fucci appeared in an orange jumpsuit from the Duval County Jail over Zoom. He was seen moving back and forth while talking on the phone.

Fucci could be heard mumbling at one point "Please don't let the devils possess my soul. My soul will be taken away by the demons, "WJXT-TV reports on the situation.

Fucci was also heard muttering, according to the broadcaster "What brings me here? All I want to do is chat with my parents. What exactly is going on? What exactly is going on?"

Bailey, a cheerleader, was a Patriot Oaks Academy classmate of Fucci's. Bailey was seen on a security camera walking with Fucci shortly after midnight on the night of her murder, according to authorities.

According to authorities, Fucci is seen on the same video camera over an hour later running in the other direction of the woods where he allegedly stabbed Bailey to death.
