A report reaching us has it that the unknown Gunmen are on rampage at Arroma, in Akwa the Anambra state capital, and there is a heavy gun shoot out which has made the people to desert the area.
According to eye witness account, the Gunmen were said to have arrived the area around 10pm on Sunday evening with not less than 7 Hilux Vans which was full of heavily Armed men, the attack was described as terrible attack by the eye witness.
The Gunmen didn't stop there, they went to Area B division police station and set it ablaze, Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) Office was equally set ablaze by the same unknown Gunmen as they shoot sporadically to scare the police and also the people around the area.
May God save Awka tonight, Currently they are on the run as Joint force confronted them and they were said to have shifted base. By the time of filling this report, there was no casualty recorded but we are surely going to be updating you on the current happening.
