Death is a price that everyone will surely pay someday. But this price is better paid at old age. The death of a loved one is painful, but that of a promising young loved one is more painful. This is even worse then the death is caused by negligence or avoidable circumstances. The news of the death of two beautiful Nigerian ladies in different private hospitals in the country due to negligence on the part of the medical teams of the hospitals have been trending on Twitter with the hashtag #JusticeForPeju and #JusticeForOmolara.
According to the reports made available on twitter by Sahara Reporters, one of the ladies identified as Omolara Omoyajuwolo, died from suspected overdose of injections from a nurse at Beachland Hospital, Arepo, Ogun State. It was reported that Omolara who was diagnosed of peptic ulcer had gone to Beachland hospital in search of medical care when the ugly incident occurred. The second lady who is identified as Peju Ugboma equally died at Premier Specialist Medical Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos due to ignorance and negligence on the part of the hospital's medical team. According to the report, Peju had gone to the hospital to undergo a surgery in a bid to remove fibroid. But things turned bad when she started losing blood, accompanied with pains after the surgery. Following these ugly developments, many Nigerians have taken to their twitter handle to react and equally demand for justice for the late Omolara and Peju. Many have equally criticized the quality of Healthcare services that are being rendered in Nigeria.
