"Nobody Demanded For A Kobo From Hushpuppi, Our Focus Was To Save Lives" - DCP Abba Kyari

The Nigerian Inspector General of Police's Intelligence Response Team (IGP-IRT) and deputy commissioner of police Detective Abba Kyari, has debunked the rumors of him receiving bribe from popular Nigerian fraudster, Ramon Hushpuppi.

Recall that Hushpuppi in a documentary released on Wednesday, disclosed that he bribed DCP Abba Kyari, to have one of his rivals arrested and jailed in Nigeria following a dispute over a $1.1 million dupe of a Qatari businessperson.

However, in recent developments DCP Abba Kyari, debunked the rumour of him receiving bribe from Hushpuppi, according to him on his official Facebook page, he disclosed that the N300,000 Hushpuppi sent was the payment for native attire and caps he bought from a seller he linked with him after expressing interest in some attire he saw on his Facebook page.

He added that, nobody demanded for a Kobo from Abbas Hushpuppi and their focus as a police officer, was to save people's lives that were purported to have been threatened.
