On Tuesday, 21st September 2021, a popular Islamic Cleric, Abdul-Rasheed Olanrewaju was arrested after allegedly being caught with a human head. Abdul-Rasheed Olanrewaju was arrested by the Amotekun team and took to Agidigbo FM Radio Station for further investigation.
Popular Radio station presenter in Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat interviewed the Islamic Cleric. During the interview, he confessed that he sent two people, Adekunle Muraina and Oogunpo to kill a mentally disabled man for him. After his confession, Amotekun team also went ahead to arrest Muraina and Oogunpo and interviewed them.
Muraina said: "He told me he needed a human head for money ritual. I told him not to worry about it, he gave me 15,000 naira and we went to kill a mentally disabled man around our house. He collected the head after we jointly killed the man and buried the body part in the backyard."
