There are people who planned to celebrate the festive period in their respective hometown but were unable to even reach their destinations as they died by accident along the road before they could reach their destinations.
Such can be said of the tragic accident that claimed the lives of two beautiful sisters yesterday who hailed from Kogi State.
The two sisters who were identified as Blessing and Victoria were on their way from Abuja to Kogi State to celebrate the Christmas and new year with their parents but unfortunately, they died along Abuja-Lokoja road and could not even see their parents.
The death of the two beautiful sisters were disclosed in several Facebook posts by their family members and friends who were traumatized by their tragic death in a moment they were supposed to be celebrating with their parents on the festive period.
One of the posts by their family member, Mathew Samuel, showed how devastated he was losing two beautiful sisters in a single to car accident in a moment they were expecting them to join other family members to celebrate Christmas and new year.
Another post from a facebook user named Kekere Youth tagged the death of the two beautiful sister as "Tragedy of the Season", expressing how hard it is for the parents to cope with the loss of the two beautiful sisters.
Nigerians who commented on the post prayed to God to have mercy on the souls of the two sisters and sent their condolences to the bereaved family as well.
One of the people that commented on the post quickly identified the two beautiful sisters as his church members, adding that they still find it difficult to believe the two sisters are gone.
