"While I Was In New York, A Senior Citizen Received A Call That I Will Be Killed"- EFCC Chairman

The Economic Financial Crime Commission Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, has disclosed that some people have been after his life since he became the chairman of the anti-corruption commission.

Speaking on Sunrise Daily, a program on Channels TV, Abdulrasheed Bawa disclosed that while he was away in New York, a very senior citizen informed him that some Nigerians are after his life.

The EFCC Chairman said the senior citizen received a call from someone who threatened to kill him. He went on to say that the situation was bad because the person that threatened him wasn't under any investigation.

After this story surfaced online, many people reacted by saying he shouldn't expect less, while others said he should reveal the names of people behind the threats.

In conclusion, note looted funds have been recovered ever since Abdulrasheed Bawa replaced Ibrahim Magu as the EFCC chairman in February.
