Just days after the abduction of school boys in kagara another sad news has taken over the region again as the Emir if kagara just pass away
The first class Emir who is survived with two wives and fifteen children joined his ancestors on the 2nd of march, 2021 after being taking at IBB Specialist hospital in ninna.
This news was revealed via Twitter by former senator who represents kaduna central Shehu sani, where he stated “I received the sad news of the death of the Emir of Kagara, Niger State, Alhaji Salihu Tanko. May Allah grant him Aljanna firdausi. Amin. Inna lillahi wainna Illayhir rajiun.”
Salihu Tanko was appointed as the 16th Chief of Tegina in 1971
and the appointed as the second Chief of kagara to succeed Alhaji Ahmadu Attahiru in 1982
Then On 1st Nov. 1991, Alh Salihu Tanko was promoted to the rank of a First-Class Emir by the military Governor of Niger State Col. Lawan Gwadabe.
