Lagos to feed schoolchildren with N11b


N11b has been budgeted by the Lagos State Government for its “Snacks for Thought Programme.”

The Special Adviser of the Office of Civic Engagement, Princess Aderemi Adebowale revealed this on Monday. 

According to Punch, She said; “The programme will cost the government N11bn.” 

She added that the State will collaborate with other organisations on this, and over 400 volunteers that will work with them are already on ground.

There have been series of attacks on police stations despite the security measures put in place by the Nigeria Police Force.

Some unknown gunmen have today, attacked Iwollo Oghe Police station in Ezeagu local government area, Enugu state.

According to The Nation, 5 persons have been feared killed, including police officers in the attack carried out by the hoodlums.

However, the incident was confirmed by the Police Command Spokesperson, Daniel Ndukwe.
