An ambulance have been destroyed by armed bandits. The attack on the ambulance took place when the driver of the ambulance got attacked while on his way to Enugu, for a burial. And also a coffin which carried a corpse for the burial at Enugu which the driver was going to, got destroyed according to reports. The driver was forced to stop the car, and the brother of the person who died also kidnapped by the bandits. Also according to the driver of the ambulance, identified as Salami Orijiwa, he added that they had left Lagos State, with the coffin and ambulance carrying the corpse for burial at the eastern part of the country, Enugu. But on getting to Benin, along Ahor road in Benin , that their ambulance got attacked and that the brother of the deceased was held by the bandits, who took him away. He further addes that when he first saw the bandits, that they were holding guns, that thou he had tried driving away, but was forced by them to stop. According to the driver, the bandits then got to where the coffin was inside the ambulance and destroyed everything, including the ambulance, before moving away with the brother of the man that died, he added, while some people had to run for their life.
