The inferno which led to the destruction of people's shops, businesses and means of livelihood, in the Lagos spare parts market, has left the victims stranded, and helpless. In a coverage which was released by Arise TV, a young man was seen as he sat on top of his destroyed goods, with eyes full of tears.

Touched with the situation of the young man, Nigerians have offered to help the young man, and other victims of the Lagos inferno. In a tweet released by a twitter user with the handle name 'Emir Sirdam LP' he said, “Please if you know this guy, reachout to me, let us help support him”.
Another twitter user with the handle name 'Savour Okechukwu' also tweeted, “if we can organise how funds can be taking to them directly, I have people who are willing to contribute too”.
