The Lavish Burial Of Obi Cubana's Late Mom Has Proven The Hospitality Of The Igbos

Have you ever been to a proper Igbo gathering, be it Enugu day, end of the year parties or Igbo traditional weddings? There is never any lack. It is always an event of plentiful and Obi Cubana proved that to the world with the burial of his late mother, Odozi Iyiegbu.

Anyone who attended the event, rich or poor, can testify to the awesome reception. Obi went all out. From the food, to the drinks, to the excess meat, and the entertainment. Everything was top tier.

At the burial, Obi made provision for all. His billionaires friends were all sheltered under one large canopy, and another canopy was made for extra guests. And the massive crowd outside the gate, Obi put them into consideration by hiring music artistes like Davido, D banj, Phyno and others to perform for them.

But the real truth is that Igbos are naturally this way. They don't host parties all the time, but when they do, it is always an event of plentiful. When they host reputable men and women in the country, like E-money hosted Senator Uche Ekwnife, it is always a shutdown.

Igbos are naturally so full of hospitality. They are well receiving and tolerating people, irrespective of tribe, religion, or wealth status. They see it as a honor to them.

If you have ever gone through the Instagram pages of Obi Cubana, E-money, Kcee, Henry Iyke, and other popular Igbo billionaires, you will have a better understanding of what I am saying. When you look at the faces of people at their gatherings, you can tell that they are happy because they were well received. That hospitality in the Igbos runs in the blood.
