Reactions as suspected kidnap kingpin, Evans, claims to be a legitimate businessman

Suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, has said in court that he is not a kidnapper but a businessman who deals in ornaments and Horlicks.

Evans disputed all kidnapping allegations leveled against him by the Lagos State Government on Tuesday.

He claimed that his nickname was not Evans that he doesn't have a nickname and he was forced to confess to being a kidnapper. He also denied all other allegations leveled against him.

Note that Evans was arrested in Lagos on the 11th of June 2017 for suspected kidnapping believed to have been one of the richest criminals in the kidnapping business in Nigeria.
