The government needs to take quick action on the increase in crime rates in the country. Many youths do not want to work out and thereby resort to stealing, kidnapping and other activities that serve as threats to the security of the country.
I felt sorry for this young man after he disgraced himself for stealing a phone in the hospital. It was gathered that he stole the phone near Ovwian Grammar School in the Udu local government area and he was beaten mercilessly by the mob.
According to reports, the thief begged people to call his mother, which they did, but his mother told them to do whatever they wanted because he enjoys stealing all the time. The mother also said that he was a disgrace to her and he should bear his cross. Funny enough, his sister witnessed the way he was beaten, according to reports.
