An Open Letter To EFCC Boss, Bawa, For Ordering Bankers To Submit Their Asset From June 1st

Dear Abdulrasheed Bawa

I'm writing this letter to you as one of the citizens of Nigeria who want the country to move forward. My purpose for writing this letter to you is not to condemn the order you gave Bankers in the country to submit their asset. But to open your eyes to some things that must be done if you really want people in the country to give you kudos.

But before I will go to my point, I want to use this opportunity to congratulate you for the new appointment as the new Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This appointment made us know that you are focus and also capable to handle the post.

Since you have been appointed as the new Chairman of EFCC, I have seen some actions you have taken and this made me known that you are going to perform very well. As you know that your focus as the EFCC chairman is to fight against corruption in the country. So I will like to advise you to do the job as the people in the country wants you to do.

But recently, I heard that you ordered Bankers in the country to submit their asset from June 1st. Although this decision is very good but I will like to give you some pieces of advise.

According to my own knowledge as little as I am, I will suggest you should focus on another things for now. There are some leaders in the country which need to submit their assets. When you are free with them, you can then go ahead to instruct bankers to submit their assets too.

Thanks for reading this article.
