Miss Bashir also promised to put in her efforts to get some out school girls in Nigeria back to the learning environment, while addressing girls who visited her office in commemoration of the International Day of the Girl-Child. The 12-year-old said the issue of the gender divide in digital development in Nigeria is in favor of the boys, but the Girls 4 Girls platform will be used to address it.
DC Comics to unveil new Superman as gay
Although mixed global reactions have trailed the idea of introducing a gay Superman as announced by DC Comics on Monday. But Glen Weldon, the author of Superman noted that changes like this in comic books lead to more vibrant storytelling.

According to the author, “any step that can be taken to make the world on the superhero comics pages look more like the world outside of it is good.”
Also, Tom Taylor, who writes the series was quoted as saying that a new Superman had to have new fights and deal with real-world problems so that he could stand up to as one of the most powerful people in the world.

In this report, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina defended the current administration, saying it is not a complete failure.
Adesina who said this during an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, also said that those who branded President Buhari as a failure were wrong because his principal who swept to power on three cardinal promises which are fixing insecurity, tackling corruption, and fixing the economy, has fulfilled these promises to the people.
Police investigate lifeless body dumped on Enugu road
The Police Command in Enugu has commenced investigation into the alleged murder of Stephen Ajah whose lifeless body was found on the Ozalla-Agbani road Road in the early hours of Monday.
According to the Command spokesperson, Daniel Ndukwe via a statement to journalists in Enugu, the lifeless body of Stephen was rushed to a nearby hospital by a police operative to be sure he was dead before depositing his remains in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
Mr. Ndukwe noted that the command has launched an investigation to apprehend his killers.
