Abba Kyari Returns To Social Media, Shares An Old Post On Facebook

Abba Kyari, the embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, has returned to Facebook after a weeks-long vacation.

Today, September 3, 2021, Abba Kyari shared an old post on his Facebook page. Kyari was willing to mentor many young police officers to be like him, according to the content of the message, which was initially posted in 2019.

The Nigerian Police Force suspended the Deputy Commissioner of Police after he was accused of accepting money from Ramoni Abass, also known as Hushpuppi.

Hushpuppi, who is currently in custody in the United States, confessed how Abba Kyari helped to arrest a co-fraudster in Nigeria a few years ago.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation had already sought that the senior officer be extradited to the United States to face charges.

Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police, had already established a commission to probe the charges leveled against Abba Kyari. The panel's report has been submitted, but it has not yet been made public. It was rumoured that the panel sought a soft landing for Abba Kyari in the report submitted a few days ago.
