Exclusive: One Died, One Missing And One Injured In A Motorcycle Accident That Occurred In Ogun

The community of Atan-Ota bears it all as something horrific happened along Sokoto road, Orita junction, near Twins block, Atan in the Ado-Odo-Ota local government area of Ogun. 

It was around 9 pm on the 29th of July 2021 that an accident occurred in the aforesaid location. It happened that a certain young man named Ayo took a bike from the Atan bus stop to get something from his workplace along Sokoto road. According to him, the level at which the cyclist raced on the road was too worrisome and he kept warning him to take precautions, but the cyclist insisted that he was used to it and that he had nothing to worry about. 

They were still talking and arguing when a certain bike without a rear light appeared from the forefront and collided with their bike. 

According to Ayo, what happened will remain a trauma in his mind forever because his cyclist flew off the bike while the bike dragged Ayo along the express road, making his arm, leg, and some other parts of his body peel seriously and causing deep wounds all over his body; the other biker fell off his bike too and rolled down the roadside canal.

A few minutes later, Ayo noticed that he was the only survivor as his cyclist died immediately and the other cyclist was writhing in pain somewhere in the canal beside the road. Later, some passersby assisted him and the cyclist to a nearby hospital. It was at the hospital that the cyclist was declared dead. 

However, something confusing occurred on getting to the portion where the accident took place. The residents went to the portion after Ayo told the people that the other cyclists were still at the portion, but his body was not found at the portion with the inclusion of his bike. 

As at the moment of writing this article, Ayo is still in the hospital while his cyclist has been taken to the Idiroko border where his people reside for burial. What is confusing the people is that the body of the other cyclist Is yet to be found. Thus, no one knows whether he has been taken to another hospital, house or being carried away by unknown people.
