On his verified Instagram page on the 10th March, 2023, where he made a live video speaking on the people's mandate and the Lagos train incident, Daddy Freeze stated reasons he believe that the mandate of the youths which is to hold powerful positions in the country in political sphere in order to ascertain change in the society, cannot stand nor hold.
According to him, he stated first and foremost that many of the people who are clamouring for change in the society are not people with dignity. They have benefitted from the government in one way or the other and as such, do not have a right to speak against the administration.
Following this statement, was also a claim that many youths believed that they are fighting the right cause, however their reputation has been tainted because many of them have accepted tokens and offers from corrupt people in power. This makes them look like the People they criticise and as such, are bound to have repercussions afterwards.
