Following the unfortunate incident that happened yesterday between LASMA officials and a man who said to have gone against the road traffic law. He was being stopped by the authority but he tried to escape, and in the process, he struggled with them while inside his car he moved his car back and front, he accidentally knocked a policeman who was behind him and he fell over the bridge into a canal.
According to the online blogger who shared this post, it is said that the man identified as Sunday Okodo, was arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command on Friday the 26th February 2021, and was brought before the mobile Court, where he was reportedly charged for driving recklessly, taking one against the traffic, refusing arrest, driving without a license, dangerous driving, Assaulting police officer and attempted murder.
According to the report, he will be charged to the Court of law but in main time he will be taken to prison in Badagry till March 26th, 2021 for another Court procession.
This indeed a very sad story for this man as h going to sleep in jail for more that a week from his comfort zone.
