Ekiti West Local Government Supervisor for Agriculture, Mr Ebenezer Busuyi has been kidnapped along Erijiyan Ekiti road.

DAILY POST gathered that he was kidnapped while driving in his personal car along the road.

His car was left beside the road and whisked away by the abductors. One of the residents of Erijiyan Ekiti who put a call across to some newsmen, explained that police from Ilawe Ekiti had visited the spot of the incident while the vehicle of the victim had been taken to the police custody.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday condemned the attack on a community in Zamfara State that saw residents of the community killed.

Buhari in his statement noted that lack of respect for human life will be brought to an end sooner than later. The President who reacted to the attack said, "this insane and persistent violence against innocent people must stop. He added that "these criminals should stop pushing their luck too far by believing that the government lacks the capacity to crush them.

Police rescue kidnapped student in Osun

The Osun Police Command on Thursday said it rescued a 25-year-old female student of the Osun College of Health Technology, Ilesa, who was abducted on Tuesday. According to a statement by SP Yemisi Opalola, the Osun Police Spokesperson, the victim, Rukayat Bayonle, was abducted on April, 20, at about 2.30 a.m, at Olomilagbala Area, Ilesa, Osun. Upon a distress call that the victim was abducted, the Osun Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode, drafted a combined team of police Tactical Unit, JTF and other security outfits on a rescue mission of the abducted girl.

Military Shut Down Camp In Niger As Bandits Abduct 15 In Fresh Attack

The Nigerian Army has shut down a military camp in Zazzaga community in Munya council area of Niger after another attack by bandits.

It was gathered that the military also launched a search operation with the support of the community youths for one missing soldier in the wake of the attack.

Recall that the gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday attacked the military camp in Zazzaga community and burnt down some vehicles.
