As we may have it, EFCC always on it dedicated duty. I still don't see why people endeavor in crimes, while there are many legitimate ways of making money in our great country Nigeria. Everyday by day, people get convicted of one crime or another, charged to court and as well Sentenced to Court.
Just few minutes ago, EFCC has paraded a convict if crime on their Twitter page. A fraud star in Abuja by name Farouk Olamilekan has been Sentenced on internet fraudstar on Wednesday been 31 March, 2021 by Justice Peter Kekemeke Of Federal Capital Territory High Court, Nyanya Abuja.
Farouk Olamilekan was also given an option of 200,000 Naira only. According to the Judge, Farouk's infinix hot 7 mobile phone and the sum of 200,000 will be handed to the Federal Government.
With regards to the headline, I said he's very lucky, because he or his family can still carter for 200,000 Naira, as there fine to pay as an option to the 3 months imprisonment. Though, EFCC was not specific on the exact kind of crime he committed. It was only said that he was convicted for Internet fraud. Don't u think he is lucky?
