The Making of Dunamis Lord’s Garden and the 100,000 capacity Glory Dome

Dr Paul Enenche began an active search for a bigger land when it became obvious that the church’s population had outgrown its current location in Area 1. This led to the purchase of parcels of land around the Abuja metropolis of Karshi area, and Autabalefi area on Keffi Road.

However, God in a revelation showed him those were not His designated location for the next church premises. In the vision, he had a glimpse of the precise location with existing landmarks. Using these landmarks, he found himself on the airport road axis, but alas, the land he was shown was not available.

But his wife was certain that the said piece of land was still available. Her conviction grew stronger with every journey on that route. Dr Becky would not forget to nudge her husband in a reminder about “this land” anytime they were travelling through the airport route. A property agent, he laid hands upon and commission to find him the “Promised Land” God had clearly described to him returned one day with good news: “the landowners were willing to sell as much as the Church was willing to buy.”

This set the stage for the establishment of The Lord’s Garden.

On September 15, 2014, his father in the Lord, Bishop Oyedepo dedicated the landed property in a ground-breaking service held on the bare ground secured at a cost of several millions of naira debt free. The initial plan was to build just the ground floor which would have been a little less than 50,000 seater capacity.

The plans soon changed as the roofing company insisted on the completion of all floors and galleries before the roofing thereby raising it to an estimated 100,000 seat auditorium which upon completion would be the largest domed structure in the world.

The new auditorium is built like two to three adjoining stadiums with the roof estimated to cost billions of naira. The building has no visible internal pillar, but with robust angular pillars. The laying of marbles and glass is virtually completed.

The Destiny Academy (an Elementary and High School) has long been completed and in use having graduated the seventh set of high school students. The construction of the residential quarters is in progress. The facility will have a shopping mall, two seven-floor office towers and a 5-star hotel of similar height and 1.5 Kilometre long recreation park.

Also in the plan is a medical centre, 5000-seat youth facility, university, over 200 units of guest chalets and a couple of gas stations. The project is on the verge of completion. So far, not a single dime was taken as loan from a bank or any other institution.
