Omokri posted this on his verified Twitter page and asked if the people can still remember that El-Rufai had hands in paying ransom.
The activities of the Bandits in the northern part of the country is totally appealing as there seems to be a fresh attack on a weekly if not daily basis. When these bandits abduct people, they would ask for ransom so that they will release the people.
El-Rufai has earlier said that he will never pay any ransom to secure the release from bandits adding that even if his son is kidnapped, that he would not pay ransom to secure his release.
Reacting to this, Reno Omokri alleged that the same El-Rufai pioneered that act of giving money to bandits in order to set the kidnapped person or persons free.
He, Reno Omokri frown at the recent comment made by Nasir El-Rufai that he would not pay ransom his son is abducted.
