On September 22, 2021, the Kano State Police Command initiated an arrest on a female fraudster known as Fati Umar Dikko, who specializes in defrauding business associates and traders with fake bank SMS alerts in exchange for their products, goods and services.
It was confirmed that she was a notoriuos fraudster because of her mode of operations and evil accomplices.
Spokesman for the Kano State Police Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident on September 22, 2021. According to Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Fati Umar Dikko was arrested on September 22, 2021 by 1:00am in the mid-night, following several complaints of victims.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Sama'ila Shu'aibu Dikko ordered for a discreet and proper investigation of the case and instructed that the suspect should be charged to court for all her evil operations and crimes.


He also confirmed that all the victims will be duly settled and appeased regarding all that they have lost to the notorious female fraudster.
