A 28 years old man have been arrested by members of the Nigerian police force in Ogun State for allegedly killing his mother-in-law.
According to reports, the suspect always beat up his wife in slight provocation.
On a faithful day, the suspect beat up his wife mercilessly and inflicted a lot of injuries on her.
His mother-in-law went to warn him not to lay his hands on her daughter and on sighting the deceased in his house, he descended on her and beat her up mercilessly. He also used a knife to stab her in her ribs.
The deceased was rushed to the hospital where she finally gave up the ghost. When the suspect heard that his mother-in-law was dead, he ran away but got arrested after the police carried out some investigations. Investigations also revealed that he is a member of a notorious cult group. I pray may the soul of his mother-in-law rest in peace.
