See What Happened Between Police Officers & Bike Men In Lagos State, That Got Reactions (Video)

In the early hours of today, there was tension as scores of commercial motorcyclists popularly called ‘Okada’ riders clashed with Lagos state Police Task Force, who were on a routine enforcement of the state traffic rules.

According to reports, the incident happened along Itire road, Otun Oba, Pako, Kabiyesi street and Ijesha road.

During the clash, there was a serious shooting which caused panic in the axis as many road users scampered to safety.

It's also gathered many feared injured and one person died during the shoot out.

In a video that has since gone viral, the Okada riders were seen throwing dangerous weapons at the armed policemen while the officers shot at them.

It was gathered that the crisis started as soon the officers arrived those axis in a bid to enforce the ban on motorcycles in Lagos.

As at the time of filing this report, no official statement has been released by the Lagos state police command as regards the clash.
