It has been recently reported by Vanguard News that a middle aged woman that simply identifies as Doosuur, who was alleged to be on the run since 2018 was just caught in the act by vigilant youths who monitored her carefully before she was eventually arrested in Benue State. During police interrogation, she revealed that she has trafficked 4 children so far and gets paid N700,000 for one child.
Based on reports, she was nabbed by Youths in the North Bank area of Makurdi town. One of the youths who apprehended her spoke on condition of anonymity and said that the woman probably came to the area to transact a business when someone identified her and alerted the youths around. She was immediately caught and held till officers came then took her away for interrogation. It was during this interrogation that she confessed how she had trafficked 4 children and gets paid N700,000 for one.
She said, "Since 2018 I have been in the business of trafficking children to parts of the country and Lagos in particular.
"So far I have trafficked 4 children and I get paid N700,000 for one child".
The police made it clear they doubt she has only trafficked four children so far and that she has not fully confessed about all her activities.
