Mr. Robert Maraj, the father of the famous American superstar rapper Nicki Minaj was strucked by a vehicle in an incident that occurred between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue on Friday evening, February 12, 2021. Mr. Maraj was said to be walking on the road in Mineola, NY when a vehicle heading Northbound struck him. According to a press release issued by the Nassau County Police Department, the unidentified driver fled the scene immediately leaving the witness without evidence.
He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital because of the serious injuries suffered in the incident and was declared dead the next morning. He died at the age of 64. Homicide inspectors are now investigating the hit-and-run incident and have yet to apprehend a suspect. Nicki Minaj hasn't said anything yet about what happened.
