Prophet Isreal Ogundipe, Sentenced To Prison Over Fraud Allegations

A more tentative and detailed attention needs to be diverted to our socio-religious life and those we regard and Accord the saintly title and position. The ministry is one that needs to be carefully patronized, as one is oblivious of who the true prophet is and who the false prophet is, either ways, one have to know who to trust.

So many people have guised themselves, under the canopy of religion to execute and perpetrate uncultured, unholy and illegal acts, and the law enforcement agencies are working to put an end to this menace covered with religion, and one of the people in this category is the popular Isreal Ogundipe, a televangelist and the head Genesis Parish of the Celestial Church of Christ, Alagbado, Lagos.

The popular televangelist; Is real Ogundipe, who has been on trial since 2011 on Seven count charge, has been reportedly sentenced to a year in prison by an High court, seated in Ikeja, after he was found guilty of 2 out of the 7 count charges; unlawfully converting a woman’s property and stealing.

The judge who presided over the case has issued and order for the accused to pay the complainant, a London-based architect, Mrs Oladele Williams-Oni the sum of N11 million which he illegally obtained from her. It is apparent that the legal system in Nigeria is working, even though judgments might have been delayed, but it wasn't denied, as tagged by many.
