Before you spread any information about somebody, it's best you confirm the news and the source before spreading the information. And mostly, if that information is something that will tarnish the image of the person. A lady whose name is Adebanjo Blessing, spread an information about a Food vendor few days ago. According to what she told the public, a food Vendor whose name is LAT, cooks her food with water used to wash dead Bodies. After the information went viral, People believed it, and started thinking that, the woman was into rituals, and she was doing that to get more customers.
Yesterday, Blessing reacted to the accusations she made against LAT. Blessing said that, the information she spread few days ago was a false information. And she overheard it from someone, but it was was wrong of her to spread that information about the Food Vendor. She didn't confirm the news, she carelessly spread the information. And she was deeply sorry, for all the damages that the False accusation might have caused the food Vendor. She then advised the public, to disregard what she has said in the past.
Before she tendered that Apology in a video, the Food Vendor (LAT), took the case up to the Traditional ruler of the town, where the matter was Judged. And blessing who went in company of her grand mother, both Apologized to the Food Vendor for the what she did. The woman who was wrongly accused, cried and lamented how the false information have affected her business. But at the end of every thing, she finally forgave Blessing.
Here are some videos links below
I guess Blessing has learnt her lesson, she will never spread any information about someone if she has not confirmed the news. She had luck she was not sued to court otherwise, she might have ended up in prison
