Kagara students speak out after their kidnap trauma

The recent news of liberation for Kagara High School in Niger State, from the hijackers on Tuesday February 27, 2021 was not immediately clear.

Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello welcomed the students, and staff of the school all 38 of them.

One of the students Abubakar Sidi a 20 year old student in the SS3 class, explained that the robbers were punished by the good work of their parents.

They were not given food from one o'clock in the afternoon, until night before they returned to give them food.

After they gave us food they started asking us that, if our father was a policeman or a marketer that we should tell them what kind of business they used to do, Sidi explained.

Another student Suleiman Lawal also in the SS3 class, said The kidnappers are so cruel that I don't think I can go back to school.

The female students in the class could not even speak for their fears, Many parents who spoke to the media said they could keep their children back at the school.

Elizabeth Jonathan one of the parents of the abducted students, said she could not sleep for 11 days as the students were abducted.
