A very sad event just occurred in Delta State. It has been reported that a couple allegedly committed suicide in their apartment after battle with depression.
Emmanuel Evans and his girlfriend, Amaka Okafor were found dead few hours after he allegedly dropped a suidcide note on Facebook hinting about battling depression.
The late couple resided in 2 Ojigbo crescent off Sapele/Effurun Road in Uvwie Delta State. Their bodies were found Thursday morning, February 25 by 5:00am.
The deadly insecticide popularly know as Sniper and a knife was found beside the corpses indicating a murder-suicide pact.
At about 1:50am on Thursday, Evans had allegedly shared a note suggesting he was about taking his life, he tagged his girlfriend, Amaka on the post on Facebook.

From the comments under his post, Evan was a Staff of MTN and described as a "lively guy". People who know him find this hard to believe that he could actually do this considering his happy nature.
I have a strong conviction this is not voluntary suicide, it may be staged to look that way. But if at all It was Evans idea, his girlfriend wasn't aware of the plan.
