Supporters Storm Sunday Igboho's Residence In Ibadan, Demand His Release

Sunday Igboho is a popular Yoruba activist who gained national recognition when he issued a week ultimatum for Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa to leave the region. Sunday Igboho was recently nabbed in Benin Republic while trying to move to Germany according to media reports. Following alleged plan by the Nigerian government to extradite Sunday Igboho to the country, Yoruba nation supporters have protested for his release. The agitators storm his Soka residence in Ibadan with placards. Words written over the placards include:

‘Sunday Igboho is not a criminal.’

Few people who voiced out their opinion called on all Yoruba monarchs, influentials and even Chief Gani Adams to come to Sunday Igboho's rescue.
