It’s no news that the security challenges of the country seems to have worsen as there have been reports of attacks in various community and areas of the country. Over the weekend, it was confirmed by the Oyo state Police Command that 11 people died during an attack at Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo state.
The attack led to destruction of properties, as the state Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko, assured the residents of the area that they will do everything to arrest the perpetrators behind the attack.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde, have apologized to the people of Igangan, as he urged them to remain calm and not to take laws into their hands. He also promised them that the attack would never repeat itself, as security agencies are working tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to justices.

Governor Makinde, also visited the family members of the deceased, as he promised to provide them with support in their time of grief.
