The notorious Kidnapper, Evans who goes by the name Chikwudubem Onwuamadike and his gang members have been in custody for about 4 years now, for their alleged involvement in several kidnappings across the country.

It has been rumored that a Lagos High Court had sentenced Evans and his gang members to Life imprisonment or given a death sentence.

If this is true, it is in line with Former Governor Akinwunmi Ambrose's 2016 Kidnapping Prohibition Bill of Lagos State.

The Bill allows for stiff and tough punishment for those involved in such criminal activities within Lagos State.

The Bill was passed into Law in January 2019 by the Lagos State House of Assembly.

According to the Bill, those caught who have engaged in criminal activities such as the collection of random from friends and families of the Kidnapped Victim. If the Victim dies in the possession of the Criminals, the suspects when caught will get the death penalty.

Kidnapper Evans and his cohorts have been linked to numerous robberies, Kidnapping, and even several murder activities within some states of the Federation like Anambra, Lagos, and Enugu State.

We hope that very soon justice would be served to avenge the innocent victims of their illegal activities.
