EFCC arrest leader of syndicate that specializes in human organ trafficking in Rivers state

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Office, has announced the arrest of one Mr. Ukaeje John Emeka, who is suspected to be the leader of a syndicate that specialize in trafficking human organs.

According to reports Mr. Ukaeje John Emeka, who is the suspected syndicate leader well known as Dr Phil, was arrested in the month of April for allegedly pretends to be a medical doctor in order to buy human organs.

According to the Preliminary investigations which was carried out by the EFCC, it showed that the suspect is leading a syndicate of fraudsters who also pretend to be medical doctors, and they have a human organ bank, where they store kidneys for sale and purchase.

It was discovered that the victims of the syndicate happens to be people with renal disease and mostly healthy people who desire to sell their organs for money in Nigeria, Pakistan, United Arab Emirate and India, according to reports, a Nigerian Passport, The Republic of Côte D'ivore Passport, Lexus Es 330 salon car, one laptop, phones and other items were recovered from the suspect.
