Governor Fayemi To Welcome Another 500 Pregnant Cows From Abroad

After importing over 200 pregnant cows from the United State of America, the Governor of Ekiti State, John Kayode Fayemi has disclosed that another 500 will arrived the state in the coming days.

Yesterday, January, 25, 2021, the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, who was pleased with the importation of the 297 cows for a projected milk production of 10,000 liters pay day confirmed to newsmen that the state is still expecting another 500 cows.

An obviously elated Fayemi said in an interview during an inspection of the Ikun Dairy Fairy in Ekiti on Sunday.

“This is all we have done to provide an enabling environment so that they can do these for us and you can see that all of work has  gone into this.

“Today, we have 297 cows here now and we are still expecting another 500 all that you are seeing is preparing the animals for milking.”

The Governor further added via a tweet that the locally based milk production will boost the state economy and transform the agribusiness sector and make Ekiti the destination of choice for investors.
