Every day by day, the issue of insurgency and insecurity in the northern part of this country seems this be on the rising side most especially in some states like Borno, Zamfara, Niger and Kastina but the good news is that, the Nigerian armed forces have been trying all they could to make sure the lives and properties of Nigerians are safe from these notorious bandits. And just today, a video have surfaced on the internet showing the latest achievement of these Armed men as they've been able to capture some of them in Niger State.
Capturing these notorious bandits is a good news to all Nigerians most especially the residents of the affected areas in Niger State but the strategy the Nigerian Army used in capturing and arresting these notorious bandits is what came as a shock to me and I think they should be highly commended for that effort.
How Did They Go About It And What Strategy Did The Army Use?
The Officers of the Nigerian army who are on a patrol to the areas affected by Bandits didn't go to the Area in their normal Vehicles instead, they disguised as being passengers of a transportation company and they concealed their weapons. It was in the process of passing the hotspots area that the bandits tried attacking and kidnapping them without the single notice of who they are but as fate would have it, they met their waterloo and they were all arrested.
After they were arrested, the Soldiers bundled them and started beating them. You can watch the Video of how they are being punished HERE

The Nigerian Army should be commended for this smart tactics and we hope they continue to record more success.
