It is no longer news that the Assistant Director of the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA) , Mr. Christopher Orji has reportedly committed suicide at his Abuja residence.
Sadly, the lifeless body of NABDA's Assistant Director was reportedly found dangling with a rope attached to the ceiling fan at his Abuja residence.
One would begin to wonder what could have led a man in such position into suicide. Can Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC invitation led Mr. Orji to commit suicide?

Many have been invited by the anti-corruption agency for interrogation and came out unhurt. Only those who misappropriated funds and have skeleton in their cupboard have cause to fear.
Invitation by EFCC is never a death sentence but an avenue to clear alleged and invited personality.
Quite a lot of people who committed suicide due to one reason or the other always drop suicide note for people to know the reason behind the painful and grave decision.
Mr. Orji may have other challenges which were not in the public domain. However, committing suicide was not the best. He put his family and loved ones in serious and terrible condition that may take time before they overcome.
Meanwhile, if one looks at the way Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC is dealing with financial related fraudsters in recent time, the person may be shivering before the invitation.

The commission has exposed a lot fraudulent activity in both private and public sectors. Internet related fraudsters can narrate what the commission is doing to expose all manners of illegitimate way of making money.
The death of Mr. Orji needs to be properly investigated. The Police need to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of 59-year old man so as to give solace to family members.
