In the late hours of Thursday, February 4, The Nigerian police force made an announcement on their Twitter page about the reward for anybody who gives them any useful information on the whereabouts of some alleged criminals. In the post, the Nigerian Police Force will give the sum of Ten Million Naira to anyone who provides them with useful information on where these people are hiding.

In the tweet accompanied with CCTV images of the alleged criminals from the crime scene, it says “Ten Million Naira (#10,000.000.00) awaits anyone with useful information on the whereabouts of the persons in the photo below”

The crimes of these people in the CCTV footage is still unknown and people have been wondering what they have done to attract such an amount on their head. After the Nigerian Police Force official Twitter account tweeted, people can’t stop reacting and here are some of the reactions below

A Twitter user who goes by the name @VictorIsrael reacted by saying “We did Data and Image Capturing during Registration for Voters card, Drivers License, NIN, JAMB, and BVN. Take these images, get matching pictures and streamline your search them share the Non-existent 10 million amongst yourselves and most importantly buy new vans”

Another Twitter user who goes by the name @Magmal11 reacted by saying “Assuming you have qualified personnel manning your base station, the reason to place any ransom on these folks would have been needless coz they would have been apprehended right at the crime scene. Unless of course if these images were gotten from a secondary source”
