
According to a report from DailyTtrust on Tuesday, the Police have announced to the media the arrest of a suspected Chief Priest of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the country.
According to the Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) in Imo, CSP Mike Abattam, Ikechukeu Umaefulem, the suspect, was arrested at his sacred place of worship or shrine, in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.
The Police Spokesman said that one pump action gun and five rounds of ammunition, with many explosives, knockouts, Biafran flag, and other spiritual items were also discovered from him.
He also added that the suspected was arrested due to a raid that was carried out by the police on the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the ESN camps, and also the Police carried out a successful neutralization and decimation of many of the terror groups in the State.
