The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has disclosed to the public that about 17 students of the abducted Government Secondary School, Kankara, have been found and taken to their parents in their various homes.
He made this known during an interview with a radio station, Deutsche Welle (DW). The interview was aired on the Monday evening in order to give the general public feedback.
According to the Governor, he coined that;
“As at today (Monday), information available to me shows that 17 of the missing children have been found. 15 of them were found around Dinya in Danmusa (LGA). I was informed by the DPO. One other was found through them and the last, the father called that his son has returned home."
Earlier today, the deadly Boko Haram terrorist claimed responsibilities for the kidnapping and this is no doubt a reason to be scared. Katsina State has always been known for its peace only until lately when issues of security cropped in.
