Femi Fani-Kaoyde who is the former Minister of Aviation, was insulted by online participants who rendered abusive words on him on Thursday, during the 5th edition of Democracy Youth Roundtable Conference, for allegedly molesting his estranged wife, Precious Chikwendu.
Obviously, he was the Guest Speaker of the hybrid event tagged Reinventing Youth Energies and Capacities for Peace and Nation Building in Nigeria which was held the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
The insults were due to an accusation of his ex-wife Precious, of verbal and physical assaults and a filed suit seeking to take custody of their four children and get N3.5 million monthly for the children's up keep. But FFK had claimed that his ex-wife was only being promiscuous.
In his speech, be urged the government to provide the youths with the necessary resources to help achieve there career but obviously, his speech was not welcome by the majority of the participants who continued blasting him with abusive words by sending comments to demand justice for Chikwendu.
There were so many reactions as Tunji, who was one of the participants,, exclaimed, "Madam Safiya Musa, for inviting a woman-beater to this event! Shame! Anything he says is all lies! Pendulous politicians!”
Another person, Lion, commented "such a hypocrite"
Tim Brown commented, “Wife beater is giving advice".
Pretty Joy also commented, "your speech is useless to me.” and many more reactions.
The question is, won't FFK be forgiven? And moreover it a family issue and should be taken to the public, it's possible something must have transpired in the past which is unknown.
