There was chaos somewhere in Obako-Oko Town in Ewekoro, the Local government Area of Ogun State, as a Thirteen years old boy by name of Gbolahan Ajibola was abducted by Gunmen.
The incident happened by 6 pm, the gunmen who were said to be six in numbers laid an ambush for the family of Ajibola when they were returning to their house in Destiny Estate, in Obada-Oko in Ewekoro Local government Area of the State.
It was later revealed that the victims, mother, and grandmother were returning from their church program at Redeem Christain Church Of God. Where the man of God Rev. Enoch Adeboye ministered to them before being surprisingly caught by the ambushed men.
The family was confirmed to be in their car when the attack took place, The gunmen who were hiding in a nearby bush were said to close to the victim's house, and they pounced on the small kid when he was highlighted from her mom's car to open the gate.
These heartless people used the opportunity to pounce on the family and they beat the victim's mother and the old grandmother Mrs. Victoria mercilessly not minding the old woman's age.
She said the incident occurred around 9.30 pm when they were returning from their church, she said they attended a program that day and the general overseer of RCCG was present that day. She said their shop was close to their church, so on the day of the incident they left church late and attended their church program, the victims are the one that often opens the game whenever they arrive incident occurred around 9.30
“Our shop where we were selling goods is very close to the church, we closed from the shop late. Whenever we come back home, it is the boy that usually opens the gate. When the boy opened the car door to open the gate, those gunmen came out of the bush and attacked them and were beaten mercilessly.
They were six in numbers, four of them went inside with them while the remaining two were outside watching out and those that went inside with us manhandled us mercilessly and they took away our boy. After collecting the boy's phone and his mother's phone, one of them communicated to us with Yoruba, she said.
The Divisioner Police Officer (DPO), DSP. Abimbola Oyeyemi went to take a look at what happened by himself as he asked them to follow him to the police station to make an official report of the incident.
She added that the kidnappers left behind their cloth in the bush in front of the house.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident on the phone on Sunday.
Oyeyemi said, “Yes, it is true, but the information I have with me is still sketchy but I will find more from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Obada, Ogun State.
