See What Minister Sadiya Farouk Said About Kidnapped Students In Zamfara.

The current minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, Sadiya Farouk said that she spent most of the day praying for the students that was kidnapped in zamfara State, northern part of Nigeria.

What what she posted on her account:

"I spent the better part of today praying and hoping that there will be a counter narrative regarding the deeply upsetting news from my home state of Zamfara" Sadiya said after posting Nigerian Plag.

"The reported mass abduction of over 300 students from their hostels at Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, Talatan Marafa Local Government Area is sad and most condemned especially with Kagara boys still in capacity" She added.

Sadiya Farouk continues to say that she was delighted to receive that some of the abducted students may have escaped to freedom and look forward to confirmation of such pleasant news.

The minister also points out about how these incidents may affect education sector.

"The Continuing attack on schools and students is a slap on the face of education and progress because education is critical to making a better progressive society" she added.
