Kenyan journalist Betty Barasa was shot and killed by suspected armed robbers at her home in Ololua, Angon District, Kagado County. On the evening of Wednesday, April 7, the district DCIO Joseph Chesimet confirmed the incident.
The suspect then asked her to take them into the house, where they stole her laptop, mobile phone, and other unidentified personal belongings. The three suspected bandits then shot Barassah and ran away.
Silas Kiragu, Senior Business Information System Support Officer of KBC TV, expressed condolences for the sudden death of Betty Mutekhele Barasa. When we were teaching together at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, I met this beautiful soul. I don’t know that yesterday morning will be the last greeting and goodbye day at the KBC reception.
Rest In Peace to her
